The Great wall,Is It Really Great?

    In this event emperor Qin ordered all peasants and craftsman to work on the great wall. A lot of people died when working on the great wall.They died of disease and even of exhaustion. Emperor Qin Was very smart  to build the great wall.Emperor Qin should keep working on the great wall because people will invade the country if he doesn’t.
    Emperor Qin didn’t  want any invaders in his country so he started to build the great wall. In total 700,000 people worked on the great wall. When the great wall was first started it was built during the spring and autumn period and warring states period during the 8th century BC through the 3rd century BC. The length of the great wall is 5,500 miles long.

Some of the peasants that worked on the wall think that Emperor Qin should not build the great wall. People will disagree because they think it is not a good idea to build the great wall. Also they think that we are keeping everyone in China and they have no chance to explore the outside world. A lot of people died while making the wall so the workers would disagree with us. The opposing opinion is wrong because they think we don’t need a big wall and protection is more important than freedom and freedom is not free.

    it is very smart to build the great wall because it will protect the people of china and it will protect me. Nobody in china wants invaders to come into the country and I don’t either. I am very happy that the Emperor Qin built the wall to keep us safe.
